102 early days at Hway Kok camp (Circa 1988)


This is our first camp. I was not in the picture. I can see Ko Yin Htwe (front), Thar Thar (far right), Than Oo (behind Ko Yin Htwe), Zaw Zaw (right of Than Oo), Ko Myo Aye (far left).
Zaw Zaw and Ko Yin Htwe resettled in the US. Thar Thar in Canada and Ko Myo Aye in Australia.
That was the time we were training with bamboo guns since we did not have real guns. We were in that camp for 4-5 months. Thai border police raided our camp and trucked us back to "Three Pagoda Pass."
