Ah Ba Aye Myint
Col: Aye Myint (Bo Sun Nyo) was a former commander of Burmese Light Infantry Division 44 (Tat-Ma 44). He set up several military training programs for the students such as ABSDF commander training, Commando training, etc., (Picture was taken in 1991)
I have never met him in person. He is well respected by all of us and most of call him "Ah Ba".

The guy sitting at the far right end of the middle row was Ko Khin Htun Kyi of ABSDF regiment 212 (previously Wang Kha camp, ABSDF regiment 211). He was shot and killed by an enemy sniper when he was on a boat travelling along Salween River on February 9, 1995.

Our first camp
"First signboard of ABSDF created by Ko Hlaing Bwarr" This is the beginning of ABSDF 102. Battalion numbers were not formally assigned to us at that point. The camp was located in the jungle inside Thailand. We were foreced out by Thai border patrol police in 4-5 months.

It was me the center (school bag). Saya Nyo Hmine in the back ground. He was a sergeant in the Burmese army when he joined the 8.8.88 people's uprising. He resettled in the US and passed away several years ago. This picture was taken on 8.8.89 in Three Pagoda Pass. We were attending the 1st anniversary of 8.8.88.

Kyaw Soe Lay (white shirt with a black collar) training with a bamboo gun in Hway Kok camp (beginning of ABSDF 102). He was killed in action in Yin Ye village (Ye township).
Ko Thiri and Ko Tin Soe Naung
Ko Thiri (left) and Ko Tin Soe Naung. Ko Tin Soe Naung was the chairman of ABSDF 101 camp, Three Pagoda Pass. Our sister camp. Both of them were engineering students at (RIT). Ko Tin Soe Naung was from Mudon. He was a prominent student leader there during the 8.8.88 uprising. He passed away several years ago in Sangkhlaburi. This picture was taken in Nat Ein Taung (Circa 1991).
Ko Thiri Nyunt-Moon Aung
Ko Thiri and Moon Aung, both are famous singers of our time. Both are proud members of ABSDF 102. This picture was taken at in Manerplaw Headquarter (1991). Ko Moon Aung resettles in Norway and Ko Thiri resettles in the US. He is currently working as a Computer Software Engineer, after graduated from California State University with BSEE degree (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering).
